Traditionally, the national celebration is celebrated by the grandparents in Allschwil and everyone is looking forward - as every year - to Grandpa's grilling arts. Again this year he has conjured up an excellent dinner on the table. Tim and Mike were looking forward to the evening all day long, because they knew that they would get lanterns. For children, a lantern is simply the biggest thing. After dinner, we also made a lantern procession to nearby relatives and admired the renovated seating area with its great-grandfather's fountain. Afterwards he went back and Tim tried himself as a pyrotechnician. While he managed it well, his mother got a big blister. A little later our loudmouth Mike finally dared to approach the torches. Many thanks to grandma and grandpa for a great evening!
